Scott Davidson and Justin Constantine, veterans recovering from injuries that altered their military careers, recognized a common challenge among service members: navigating various organizations, services, and headhunters to find the right resources. Determined to make a difference, they joined forces and launched the inaugural BOURBIZ event in New York City through their organization, Veteran Success Resource Group (VSRG).

Since its inception in 2014, BOURBIZ has grown exponentially, becoming a beacon of support for veterans across the United States. The event provides a platform for service members, particularly those with limited resources, to connect with the right opportunities and organizations. What started as a single event has evolved into a nationwide series of expos hosted in Las Vegas, San Antonio, Washington DC, New York, and Tampa.

Partnering with private businesses, government agencies, and non-profits, VSRG ensures that BOURBIZ remains a free and accessible resource for veterans and their families. Each expo offers a casual environment where attendees can network with businesses, universities, government agencies, and veteran service organizations (VSOs).

These annual recruitment events feature open bars, live entertainment, award presentations, and prize giveaways, making them informative and enjoyable experiences for all attendees. The most recent expo held at MGM National Harbor drew over 1,800 participants, highlighting the event's continued success and impact.

Through their collective efforts, BOURBIZ has served over 16K military members and continues empowering veterans, fostering connections, and paving the way for a brighter future beyond the military.
