In 2022, Jerod and Cally Ideus set out on a mission that hit close to home, respecting journeys, and navigating true north. As Army veterans, parents of soldiers, and friends of those serving and who have served; they understood the importance of being present and respectfully providing guidance, resources, and navigation in a journey that is unique to each person. With faith and dedication to serving, the Odyssey Mission was launched.

The Odyssey Mission provides a safe (indoor and outdoor) space to conduct clinics, including equine, pet, and other therapies for veterans, first responders, and their families. We also support children and seniors with the specific goal of overall well-being. Additionally, the Odyssey Mission has resources to bring various programs onsite to suitable locations such as schools, senior centers, and recreational facilities. We think outside the box considering all possible paths to help navigate. That is why we also work hard in building relationships and supporting coalition partners in common goals.

Our 2024 focus starts with commanding inherent respect through compassion, guidance, and opportunity as a compass. Second is controlling the resources that align in the navigation for one’s true north. Lastly, communicate with coalition partners to make a difference in one respected journey at a time.
