🍂 Once Upon a Fall Day in Branchburg… 🍂

Once upon a crisp fall day in Branchburg, something was missing…

Scarecrows! Lots and lots of scarecrows!

So the Branchburg Education Foundation and Branchburg PTO came together with a fun idea: let’s fill Whiton School with the most creative, silly, spooky, sweet, sporty, and spectacular scarecrows Branchburg can dream up!

And that’s how the Scarecrow Stroll & Showdown began.

Now it’s your turn to become part of the story!

Gather your family, friends, neighbors, team, troop, school, business, or community group. Dig through the closet, find some flannel, grab a little straw, and bring your one-of-a-kind scarecrow to life.

🌾 Drop-Off: Sunday, October 25
🗳️ Whiton Class Voting: Monday, October 26
🎃 We’ll try to keep the scarecrows on display through Trunk-or-Treat, weather permitting, so the community can enjoy them and vote too!

🏆 Fun prizes including Most Creative, Best Themed, People’s Choice & more!

🍁 $10 per scarecrow
🍁 Registration deadline: October 20, 2026, or until spaces are filled
🍁 Teachers participate FREE — contact us for the code!
🍁 Please bring a sturdy stake/support so your scarecrow can stand proudly outdoors.

🎁 Want to add to the fun? Local businesses and community members who would like to donate a prize or gift card, please contact us!

🌾 So gather your crew, let your imagination run wild, and help us fill Whiton with scarecrows, smiles, and unforgettable fall memories!
