EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Welcome to BREATHEGOOD at KENNETH HAHN STATE PARK, a DONATION-BASED COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE. Join WalkGood LA Sunday morning at 10AM for a 1 hour Vinyasa yoga experience and a nice morning in the park. This BreatheGood will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Our friend Bobby Rodriguez will lead the yoga flow.

We believe that yoga at BreatheGood is for everyone. Bring your family and children, bring your friends, bring everyone! It's a true community experience. The flow will begin at 10am, so EARLY ARRIVAL is highly suggested to account for parking time and finding location. There will be long car lines to get into the park as you near 10am, and we don't want you to miss the experience! Last month we had folks coming in as late as the second half of the experience. Please arrive early to avoid missing out.

CHECK-IN PROCESS AND WAIVER

If you have signed a waiver for any previous WalkGood LA experience in 2024, then you do not need to sign another waiver. We will simply look your name up to verify you have signed one in the past.

Everyone must sign a waiver to enter the space and participate, including waivers signed on behalf of each of your children. Please sign the correct waiver above prior to arrival; there will be a simple check-in process where we will scan the QR code you receive in an email upon signing up for this event. We will also verify that you have signed a waiver. If you have not signed a waiver before, you will be able to do so upon check-in. To ensure a smooth check-in process, please have your QR code ready and have your waiver signed beforehand!

You do not need to have tickets for each of your children, but you must sign a waiver for each child.

Once you have signed this waiver, you do not need to sign it again for subsequent BreatheGood or other donation-based experiences this year.

1. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO BREATHEGOOD?

We recommend that you arrive early to account for parking time, walking to location, and check-in. We will begin on time at 10AM. Some folks get here as early as 9:00AM! If you want the full BreatheGood experience, get here early! Please bring your own yoga mat and water. We recommend wearing comfortable and flexible clothing. We will have a handful of spare yoga mats, but they go quickly!

Have your QR code ready to scan upon check-in.

BreatheGood creates a safe and welcoming environment for everyone! Yoga is for everyone, so come as you are!

2. WHERE IS BREATHEGOOD LOCATED IN THE PARK? AND WHERE DO I PARK MY CAR?

BreatheGood is located in the Northwest area of Kenneth Hahn, off of the La Cienega entrance.

You can park in the lot located off of the La Cienega entrance. You may walk through the Japanese Garden and down the hill to the BreatheGood location. Parking on the weekends at Kenneth Hahn is $7. We draw large crowds, so please arrive early to avoid any long car lines into the entrace for parking. Sometimes, there is available parking at the Stoneview Nature Center.

4. THE WALKGOOD YARD

WALKGOOD LA RECENTLY OPENED THE WALKGOOD YARD, A NEW CREATIVE WELLNESS STUDIO THAT OFFERS REGULAR YOGA CLASSES MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY as well as step aerobics and creative workshops. New workshops and events are being developed. Book club and jam sessions anyone? If interested in regular yoga practice and more at our studio space, become a member at thewalkgoodyard.org.
