Bright Like Lucy Foundation

On July 4, 2025, while attending a Texas youth camp, eight-year-old Lucy Dillon tragically lost her life. A strong leader, determined to be successful, she embraced every challenge and never quit no matter how difficult the challenge was. A fierce competitor and brilliant student, she excelled both in athletics and academics. She was a friend to all, had a gift for compassion, lifted up others during failures and routinely cheered for the underdog. We will miss her dearly and are determined to make sure her light continues to shine bright in our lives and the lives of the people her fund touches.

Focus Areas

Bright Like Lucy has 4 areas of focus: athletics (Lucy loved basketball and softball), STEM (Lucy skipped a grade in math), Scholarships (Foundation provides scholarships to graduating seniors) and Animal Welfare (Lucy loved dogs, and especially corgis).
