The American Flat Track community is heartbroken by the tragic loss of Dan Bromley, who passed away following an on-track incident at the Lima Half-Mile in Lima, Ohio, on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Dan was more than a talented racer and champion. As a third-generation racer, flat track was part of who he was, and he carried that legacy with pride. Beyond the track, he was a devoted husband, a proud father, a beloved son, a loyal friend, a trusted teammate, and a cherished member of the racing family.

To know Dan was to know kindness. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. It truly seemed he never met a stranger, and his genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Dan loved his family, his friends, and the sport of flat track with all his heart. His passing leaves an unimaginable void, especially for his wife, Connar, and their two young children.
