This summer, families will pledge to read together and invite friends and loved ones to sponsor their efforts with a donation to Bright Spot Network.

Our goal is simple: bring families together through reading while raising critical funds for Bright Spot Network's Bright Reads program supporting parents with cancer and their children.

We’re inviting families, kids, grandparents, classrooms, and communities to join us by creating a fundraising page, setting a reading goal, and sharing why this cause matters to them.

Whether you read 10 books, 100 pages, or every night before bed, every story shared helps create brighter days for families facing cancer.

How It Works

1. Sign Up—Create your personal or family Read-A-Thon fundraising page and share your story.

2. Read Together—No tracking books, pages, or minutes, just pick your favorite books and center your reading routine with purpose. Check out some of our favorite books [link to a hidden web page or list somewhere, maybe the committee nominates.

3. Share & Raise Support—Invite friends, family, and coworkers to sponsor your reading with a donation to honor your journey and ensure families facing cancer don’t have to do it alone.
