This year, Bramble Theatre Company grew in ways we could only dream about.

We hired 118 artists, developed 14 new scripts, and welcomed 77 community partners. 85 students enrolled in our Education Program where we launched five new classes.

238 audience members took advantage of our Access Ticket program, which lowers financial barriers to experiencing theatre. Audiences packed our shows, from the nearly sold-out run of Racecar Racecar Racecar to the world premiere of Rooted.

As a young company, we’re building something rare, a true home for new work. A place where emerging artists are championed. A place where scripts get the care they need. A place that stays accessible to our community, even as arts funding becomes increasingly uncertain nationwide.

This winter, Bramble aims to raise $20,000 in order to produce our 2026 slate of productions and classes. We appreciate gifts of all sizes, and any gift of $50 or more will earn name recognition on our 2026 Donor Wall in the Bramble Arts Loft.

Here are a few ways your contribution will directly impact the Bramble Theatre community:

$75 – We offer refreshments for our artists at each first rehearsal. Your gift covers hospitality (coffee, tea, snacks) to create a welcoming environment for table work.

$120 – Covers a costume for Black Bear Island by Karissa Murrell Myers

$250 – We aim to make theatre more affordable by offering $5 Access Tickets to every performance. Your gift subsidizes the difference between Access Tickets and General Admission for one night of theatre.

$400 – Our Education team offers classes ranging from Playwriting to Acting Scene Study. This gift covers a full-tuition scholarship for an 8-week course.

$1,000 – Your gift subsidizes a week of Access Tickets, making theatre more affordable for 40 audience members.

$1,400 – We present excerpts of six scripts at our Annual Festival of Unfinished Work. Your gift covers the entirety of artist compensation and production elements for one script.

$2,500 – Your gift covers all scenic elements of our Fall Production Black Bear Island by Artistic Director Karissa Murrell Myers.
