Kennett Community Grocer (KCG) is officially on its way! With the lease secured and plans underway to open in spring 2026, the vision of a community-owned grocery store is being transformed into reality.

By donating or sponsoring a piece of equipment* — a refrigerator, a produce shelf, a café table, or even our checkout counter — your contribution directly funds the fixtures and staff that will make this store possible. Each sponsored item will include your name (or dedication) proudly displayed, a lasting symbol of your part in bringing this community-built store to life!

Support local farmers and producers by providing a permanent, year-round marketplace for their goods.
Create living-wage jobs and keep profits circulating locally, in and around Chester County, PA.
Provide food you can trust that's fresh, local, and transparently sourced.

Your tax-deductible donation will be used solely to support the build out and operation of Kennett Community Grocer (KCG) — a member-owned cooperative that will sell locally produced foods to the Kennett Square–area community.
