Every week, Outreach 419 serves more than 250 people through peer recovery coaching, all-recovery meetings, transportation support, family programming, youth activities, and sober social events that prove one powerful truth:

Recovery is possible.
And recovery can still be fun.

At Outreach 419, we are changing the way people see sobriety.

For too long, people have believed recovery means isolation, boredom, shame, or simply surviving.

We’re here to prove something different.

Recovery can mean connection.
Recovery can mean purpose.
Recovery can mean laughter.
Recovery can mean bowling nights, roller skating, baseball games, concerts, friendship, and real community.

Recovery can mean creating a life worth staying sober for.

That is exactly what Outreach 419 has been doing, and now, because of incredible growth and impact, we are ready for the next chapter.

A Major Milestone

Outreach 419 was recently awarded State of Michigan funding to help us pursue official certification as a Recovery Community Organization (RCO).

This puts us on the path to becoming one of a select number of recognized organizations in Michigan expanding peer-led recovery support for individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.

This is more than progress.
This is proof that what’s happening here matters.

But growth requires space, stability, and a permanent foundation.

Our Vision

This capital campaign will help Outreach 419 secure and expand a permanent home base for recovery, allowing us to serve more people, strengthen our programs, and create lasting impact for years to come.

With this expansion, we will be able to:

• Increase support groups and recovery meetings
• Expand youth and family programming
• Provide more peer recovery coaching and life skills services
• Increase transportation and access to resources
• Host larger sober social events and educational opportunities
• Strengthen long-term recovery infrastructure in our region
• Continue breaking stigma by showing recovery out loud

Why This Matters

Addiction, overdose, and mental health struggles have deeply impacted families across our communities.

People need more than a place to avoid substances.

They need belonging.
They need support.
They need joy.
They need purpose.
They need a community that reminds them life is not over.

Outreach 419 is already that place for hundreds every week.

Now we have the opportunity to expand that impact even further.
