Amplified Voices was born through a collaboration between Attorney Michelle Jenkins, Attorney Robert Alexander, and Development Officer David Chappell. Amplified Voices features three flagship programs: The Justice Freeman Fellowship, the Ida B. Wells-Barnett Think Tank, and Amplified Voices Legal Clinic. Together, these programs will amplify Black voices in the interest of redefining the face, voice, and accessibility of justice.

Our 2021 Year-End Campaign will raise money to help us build and launch the Justice Freeman Fellowship. The JFF fellowship will introduce high school juniors and seniors from economically marginalized African American neighborhoods to Chicago's legal and policy community, preparing them for a future career in law!

Our hope is that this program will improve the trajectory of entire families. Will you join our mission by putting on your hard hat and helping us build a better tomorrow for these young people? The future of justice starts with us.
