This season marks the beginning of a new era for Whirlwind Dance Company. A new Artistic Director, Executive Director, Board, and vision.

Season V isn’t just another season.

It’s 12 professional artists.

But creating contemporary dance isn’t free.

Every rehearsal.

Every theater/rehearsal rental.
Every dancer paid fairly.

It all happens long before an audience takes their seat.

Like many arts organizations across the country, Whirlwind continues to face increasing costs while public arts funding becomes more limited. Final decisions about our official funding have been pushed back to the end of July with our season starting August 10.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 by our first Season V performance to ensure we can continue paying artists, producing original work, and expanding access to dance in Columbus. Slated for the middle of Fall.
