Building Stronger Together

Every day at the Brainerd Family YMCA, something is being built.

Confidence in a child learning to swim.
Belonging for a young person who needs a place to feel welcome.
Connection for an older adult who finds friendship and community at the Y.
Opportunity for a family who otherwise may not be able to afford a Y program or experience.

These are the building blocks of a stronger community—and they are made possible by people like you.

One Brick. One Story. One Community.

For generations, the Brainerd Family YMCA has been a place where people come together to learn, grow, connect and belong. But for many of our neighbors, the cost of membership, child care, youth programs, swimming lessons, camp and other Y experiences can be a barrier.

Our Annual Campaign helps remove that barrier.

Gifts to the campaign help ensure that financial circumstances don't have to determine who gets to participate, who gets to discover something new or who gets to experience the sense of belonging that happens at the Y.

And every gift matters.

Your support can help build confidence, create opportunities, strengthen families, encourage healthy lives and make meaningful connections possible.

Your gift builds more than a program.

It builds the moment a child realizes, “I can do this.”

It builds a safe place for a young person to be themselves.

It builds friendships, healthy habits and opportunities that can last a lifetime.

It builds a community where more people have the chance to belong.

That's what Building Stronger Together is all about.

When you make a gift to the Brainerd Family YMCA's 2026 Annual Campaign, you're adding another piece to a much bigger story—one being written every day by children, families, seniors and neighbors throughout our community.

One Brick. One Story. One Community.

Thank you for helping us Build Stronger Together.
