In 2026, the Butler Eagle wil prepare intentional and timely reporting for two special journalism projects: ‘Check-up on EMS’ & ‘Bridging the Divide in Butler County.’ With your support, we hope to dedicate resources toward these two projects.

Our Check-up on EMS providers is a new effort that looks at the challenges the first responders are facing and highlights solutions in the field. The Civics & Civility project is an ongoing effort dedicated to bridge division in our county, explain the workings of government and promote civil conversations here in our home following the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt that brought all eyes to Butler County.

We’ve already held several conversations between people of varying political opinions, explained important government processes and hope to do more with your support. We are proud to represent Butler County and hope to serve as an anchor for its continued growth, community spirit and history. Thank you for supporting our local reporting.
