This January, we are hosting our 7th overnight weekend rest experience, bringing together 20 women to be fully cared for and restored. To make this possible, we are partnering with six Black-owned entrepreneurs and practitioners who will provide meals, wellness activities, and healing services throughout the weekend. Your contribution directly supports both the women who attend and the Black women professionals who make the experience possible.

In just two years, Black Women Rest has created transformative spaces where over 600 women have experienced collective rest, healing, and reconnection. Through immersive weekend rest experiences, one-day gatherings, and community-centered events, we remind Black women that rest is not earned, it is our birthright. This January, we are hosting our 7th overnight weekend rest experience, continuing to expand access to restorative spaces for women who need them most.

Our weekend rest experiences bring together Black women as participants and as leaders. Each experience is intentionally curated by hiring Black women entrepreneurs, wellness practitioners, chefs, therapists, bodyworkers, and facilitators who provide the meals, activities, and care that make the weekend possible. This creates an ecosystem where participants are nourished while practitioners are supported and elevated, ensuring that every dollar given sustains not just one woman’s rest, but a cycle of community care and economic empowerment.

During a weekend rest experience, women are nourished with chef-prepared meals, wellness activities, sister circles, and restorative practices designed to release stress and create sustainable rhythms of care long after the experience ends. Accessibility is at the heart of this work, ensuring that cost is never a barrier for women who deserve to rest, regardless of income or circumstance.

$100 – Ensures one night of safe, comfortable lodging for a woman to fully unwind
$300 – Covers half of a 3-night stay, lifting the financial burden so rest can be accessible
$600 – Sponsors an entire weekend rest experience for one woman, offering her three days of healing, connection, and renewal
