We are proud to partner with an exceptionally talented Tulsa artist, Henry Toro. He has graciously donated 17 of his prints and two sculpted wall pieces, only available through our auction.

A proud Venezuelan by origin, Henry Toro embarked on his American dream 30 years ago. After completing his education in International Business at Oral Roberts University, Toro has realized success in the fields of telecommunications and banking. His true calling lies in his artistry, leading to the creation of Modern Textures from the confines of his garage. With humble beginnings using a hand-sander and scrap cedar, Toro's philosophy of "Customizing Every Piece, Every Time" shines through each creation. Whether you are renovating your home or sprucing up an office space, Modern Textures provides uniquely handcrafted items utilizing 100% real wood, such as poplar, cedar, alder, and maple, all treasured for their elegance and resilience.

In August 2024, Team Suicide Prevention inherited the heartfelt task of assembling and delivering the "Hope Box” from Hope is Oxygen. In recognition of limited resources, a handful of TSP members transformed the Hope Box into The Hope and Healing Care Package. Members of this committee have experienced the warmth and support from a package and felt firsthand how its carefully chosen contents can uplift the spirit and foster healing. It's a comforting reminder that we're not alone and that there is hope on the horizon. The package features the artwork of members loved ones lost to suicide, emotional stories from surviving family members, stories of those working through crisis and various items that comfort the soul.

Each Hope and Healing Care Package costs approximately $130 to complete. When you purchase a print or sculpture from the auction, you can sponsor at least one package with a personalized dedication and uplifting quote from you or your organization. Your involvement today will be pivotal in sustaining this invaluable program and ensuring its continued impact.
