The Walt Disney Birthplace in Chicago continues to serve as a beacon of inspiration preserving the modest home where Walt first entered the world and where the seeds of his dreams were planted.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3), our mission is to empower the next generation of dreamers and doers with arts & entertainment through community activations that encourage children to dream, explore, and create. By empowering our youth, strengthening our community and inspiring generations, we can ignite kids’ imaginations so they may dream bigger than ever before.

The power of place in shaping a story/narrative is critical. While Walt was born in the family home designed by his mother and built by his father that we are working to preserve, Woking Way is where Walt continued refining his creativity and building the foundation of a special home with special stories that would define generations. By hosting this event, we can celebrate this historic home transcending time and creating a setting that embodies creativity, honors the birthplace of a legend’s imagination and connects these two homes together in a beautiful stage for storytelling.
