Through this event, we aim to bring awareness to domestic violence in our communities and prevention through law enforcement support. The proceeds from this auction go towards the Amy Kuritar Lohrmann Memorial Endowed Scholarship, which was founded by the parents of Amy Kuritar Lohrmann. She was an alumna of UCF and LAE who lost her life in a domestic violence incident. Every year, the Department of Criminal Justice awards this scholarship to several high-achieving and community-inclined students at UCF to honor her memory. It is our goal to raise as much as we can in order to give back to the community and the hard-working students of the University.
