In the remote Himalayan forest, a remarkable creature roams: the red panda. Unfortunately, red pandas face a grave threat – they are losing their habitat due to deforestation and human activities because of a lack of conservation awareness. The need to protect red pandas is urgent, there may be as few as 2,500 remaining in the wild. Red Panda Network (RPN) is at the forefront of the efforts to save the red pandas and their habitat. You can support red panda conservation by bidding on beautiful artwork for your home.

Many of the art pieces available in this auction were painted by the people who live among the pandas in Ilam, Nepal. In the recent edition of Ilam Literature Festival, which was held March 29-30, 2024, Red Panda Network played a significant role as a sponsor. This collaboration highlighted the intersectionality of conservation and artistic expression.

The inclusion of red panda themed art was one of the unique attractions of the festival. Artists from various backgrounds came together to create stunning paintings and artworks inspired by the red panda. These artworks not only showcased the beauty and charm of the red panda but also raised awareness about the conservation efforts needed to protect this elusive animal.
