This event holds a special place in my heart because it always brings back memories of my mom and her incredible dedication to helping others. Despite her battle with breast cancer, which spread and later returned, she never stopped caring for those around her. In 2015, she faced the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Lung Cancer, and later the return of Breast Cancer but even as she underwent treatment for both cancers, her compassion and strength never wavered.
