A North Shore tradition since 2015, Taste of Evanston celebrates the city’s most popular eating and drinking establishments as they donate their talent, time, and valuable resources to help people in the community who are homeless and housing insecure.

Proceeds from the event support two local organizations whose singular mission it is to address this problem:

Connections for the Homeless, a non-profit organization that helps individuals and families who are homeless or threatened with homelessness to achieve stable housing.

Reba Place Development Corporation – an organization that develops safe, and affordable housing that demonstrates how the diverse racial and cultural groups in Evanston can thrive together.

A portion of the proceeds will also support the ongoing humanitarian service efforts of the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club., including life-changing international projects across the globe. The club’s parent organization, Rotary International, brings together a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.
