First Tee – West Virginia has helped shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by teaching values like integrity, respect and perseverance.

The focus of First Tee – West Virginia is to give young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop life-enhancing values such as honesty, integrity and sportsmanship, through golf, and our character education program. The Life Skills Experience component is one of the unique features that separates our program from many other junior golf programs. The First Tee School Program is currently implemented in over 200 schools across 30 West Virginia counties, while our golf course program is taught at 8 locations statewide. Our goal is to establish the First Tee School Program in every West Virginia Elementary and Middle School and grow our golf course program as well.
