Why Hall of Fame Matters

In 2025, CT State Community College Gateway awarded 900 degrees and certificates, with more than 700 graduates entering the workforce or continuing their education—many with help from scholarships funded by the Hall of Fame.

In 2024, the event raised over $114,000, generating nearly $97,000 in scholarships for Gateway students.

2025 Honorees

Alumni Award: Pastor Harold Brooks ’89, Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church
Community Honoree: Dr. Alice Forrester, CEO, Clifford Beers Community Care Center
Corporate Honoree: Jeff LeClair, Education Manager, Subaru University of New England
Lion Award: John DeStefano, New Haven’s 49th and longest-serving Mayor
