The Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) is proud to host its 17th Annual Golf & Cornhole Classic at the gorgeous Tilden Park Golf Course. This event, bringing together friends, colleagues, BHS families, student-athletes, and our amazing coaches, is more than just a day of competition; it is a powerful opportunity to support and uplift our community’s young athletes.

Your participation and the funds raised from this event will directly fuel the 1300+ student-athletes in the Berkely High athletic programs, providing essential resources such as equipment & gear, coaches & trainers, travel to regional & national competitions, educational opportunities, and so much more! By participating, sponsors, golfers, & cornholers alike will directly contribute to the development of well-rounded student-athletes, empowering them to excel both on and off the field.

Your support will help ensure that our young athletes have the tools and opportunities they need to succeed in sports, academics, and beyond, fostering a brighter future for the broader community. Together, we can continue to build a strong foundation for the next generation of leaders.

The Event Day Experience→

Golfers will spend a day on the beautiful Tilden Park Golf Course, enjoying a round of golf amidst the stunning Berkeley Hills scenery. Our cornhole contestants will enjoy this timeless game of bags in the same gorgeous setting. For both, the day will be filled with camaraderie, competition, and the chance to enjoy the serene atmosphere of one of the bay area's most picturesque courses.

As the sun sets, the event will conclude with an awards ceremony and a delightful dinner, where contest winners will be recognized for their achievements on the course, or with the bags. However, the true highlight of the evening is the opportunity for attendees to meet, dine with, and learn about the remarkable student-athletes and coaches who will benefit from the funds raised during the event.

These interactions offer a unique and inspiring glimpse into the lives and aspirations of the young athletes whose futures will be shaped by the generosity of those who participate. It’s an evening that not only celebrates golf & cornhole but also the impact of community support in empowering the next generation.

5:30 PM: Join us for the 19th hole! Reception (cash bar) & silent auction
6:00 PM: Dinner (included), awards & connecting with our student-athletes & coaches
7:30 PM: Adjourn!

Want to make a day of it? You can register to play golf and/or cornhole as an individual or a team (golf foursome, cornhole pairs) and stay for the post-tournament festivities
Have a busy day (or not ready to unveil your swing or toss just yet)? Don’t fret - you can buy a ticket to join us just for the reception & silent auction + dinner & awards

Remember, capacity is limited, and we expect this event to sell out!

Can’t make the event but still want to support? You can sponsor a BHS coach or student-athlete so they can play in the tournament or join for the dinner… Or sponsor a hole on behalf of your business (or an individual). We welcome donations for our silent auction and invite you to bid on items in the online auction the week leading up to the event (more info to come).
