The Oxford Main Street Project Corporation (OMSP Corp.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the walkway/bikeway running along route 67 in Oxford. Additionally, it will support and enhance the Little River Nature Preserve. Little River Nature Preserve is a small 16-acre property across from Oxford Town Hall.

OMSP Corp. will seek to bring in programs to provide nature related educational opportunities to the town. In April 2023, Paul Colburn who's a wildlife biologist in Connecticut provided a presentation on Black Bears in Connecticut. It was attended by more than 30 people. In May, Rose Hiskes from the State of Connecticut will be having a walk/talk about the invasive plants in Connecticut. We're planning for a September program which will feature live animals.

Signage throughout Little River Nature Preserve to identify various flora which is found through the preserve will be added. The first phase of the preserve is completed. The second phase of the preserve will add a pedestrian bridge over Little River as well as finish the nature trail within. Once completed, a short hiking trail will be added on the west side of Little River.
