The Florida Disaster Foundation serves as the direct-support organization of the Florida Division of Emergency Management, providing assistance, funding, and support for disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and relief efforts across the state of Florida. Contributions made through the Foundation directly support communities impacted by disasters and help fill critical gaps where federal assistance may end.

As part of Florida's Training for Emergency Management Symposium 2026, the Florida Disaster Foundation is proud to host a Silent Auction benefiting disaster relief and recovery initiatives throughout Florida. Auction items have been generously donated by partners, organizations, and supporters committed to strengthening Florida’s resilience and supporting communities during times of need.

Funds raised through the Silent Auction will help provide immediate support to disaster survivors, assist with unmet needs during recovery efforts, and enhance programs, like FTEM, that strengthen preparedness and resilience statewide. We invite all FTEM attendees to participate, place bids, and support the mission of helping Floridians before, during, and after disasters.
