Get Ready to Bid, Win, and Make a Difference!

The Indian Ridge Elementary Community Auction goes live April 22 at 8:00 AM and closes April 24 at 9:00 PM, a short, high‑energy bidding window you won’t want to miss!

Before bidding opens, everyone must register to bid on the auction site.

While you’re there, if you’d rather simply support the school with a cash donation or just want to help us build early momentum toward our goal, you can make a “Donate Cash Now” contribution on the overview page at any time during the auction starting today!

This is Indian Ridge’s final fundraiser of the year, and our goal is to raise $20,000 to support students, staff, and programs across the school. With 240+ items, there truly is something for everyone!

How the Auction Works

Once the auction opens on April 22, you can participate in three ways:

• Set an Auto‑Bid: Enter the maximum amount you’re willing to pay and the system will automatically increase your bid by the minimum increment if someone else bids against you (up to your limit). *Side note, if your max bid is the same as someone elses it will default to whomever entered their max bid FIRST so make sure to log your max bids ASAP on Wednesday!

• Bid Live: Check in throughout the auction and place bids as you go.

• Buy Now: Once the auction opens, select items will include a “Buy Now” option. If you see a favorite restaurant, a must-have item, or a one-of-a-kind experience you don’t want to miss, you can purchase it immediately at a price set just below fair market value, guaranteeing it’s yours

Only the winning bidder pays. When the auction closes on April 24 at 9:00 PM, the highest bidder for each item will automatically be charged using the card on file.

If you reach the end of the auction and didn’t spend what you had planned, you’re always welcome to circle back and make a “Donate Cash Now” contribution to help us reach our goal.

• Set auto‑bids early. Many experienced bidders place their max bids early so they don’t lose out later.

• Check back in the final hour on April 24. This is when the most bidding activity happens and last‑minute opportunities appear.

• Bid with your heart. Remember this is a fundraiser supporting the entire Indian Ridge community.

Students from any grade can bid on these experiences, which means your child can spend time with:

• A current teacher they can’t get enough of
• A future teacher or grade level they’re excited about
• A specialist or staff member they admire

Our teachers and staff are generously donating their personal time, creativity, and energy outside their regualr comitments to create these incredible experiences. When choosing your bid level, please keep in mind the effort they’re putting into making these moments special for our kids.

Why This Matters

Every bid directly supports Indian Ridge students.

Auction proceeds help bridge critical funding gaps not covered by public funding, supporting programs, classroom needs, and opportunities that enrich the experience for all students.

This is our last major fundraiser of the school year, and we’re working toward a $20,000 goal. With the help of our amazing community, we know we can meet and hopefully exceed this goal!

Even better... feel free to attend the last PTO meeting of the Year on April 29th from 6-7pm in the art room (remote option to attend also available) where we will be sharing out the results of the auction and answering any questions.

Important Pickup Information (No Shipping Available)

All items must be picked up in person by the named winning bidder (no substitutes).

Monday, April 27

7:30am-9:30am- front of school (where we will also have the Astro Coffee Truck so come pick up your items and a cup of coffee too).
2:15–3:15 PM — Front of school

Wednesday, April 29
1:15–2:15 PM — Front of school
5:00–7:00 PM — just before and during the PTO meeting (Art Room)

Thursday, April 30
2:15–3:30 PM — Front of school
Final pickup window

Auction Policy:
All bids are final and non-refundable.

Items not picked up by the final deadline may be offered to the next highest bidder or donated in support of teacher and volunteer appreciation efforts the first week of May (if you have an extenuating circumstance that prevents you from being able to pick up during this time frame please contact IRPTOAUCTION@GMAIL.COM prior to Thursday April 30th.)
