A Forever Home Rescue Foundation is a nonprofit, volunteer‑driven organization dedicated to giving dogs in need a second chance at life. We believe every dog deserves love, safety, and a forever family—and we work every day to make that a reality.

Our mission is simple: rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome. We take in dogs from shelters, overcrowded facilities, and challenging situations, providing them with medical care, compassion, and a stable environment until they find the loving homes they deserve.

Join us for a tail-wagging celebration of rescue, second chances, and forever families at AFH's 2026 Dog Reunion!

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, adopters, volunteers, supporters, dog lovers, and the public are invited to gather at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, Virginia for an unforgettable day of fun, friendship, and furry reunions.

This special event brings together dogs who found their forever homes through AFH, the families who love them, and the community that makes our rescue mission possible. Whether you've adopted from AFH, volunteered, donated, fostered, or simply love dogs, we'd love to see you there.
