Howdy!

Casino Night is back! Join the Hawthorne Foundation for an evening of fun, friendship, and fundraising. This adults-only event brings together Hawthorne’s families, friends, faculty, staff, and neighbors for a night of games, music, and celebration.

Get ready to deal, dance, and donate at Boots & Bluffs: Hawthorne Casino Night! 🤠♠️

We’re bringing a little Texas Hold ’Em swagger to Hawthorne for a night of casino games, line dancing, great food and drinks, exciting auction items, and plenty of friendly bluffing—all in support of our Hawthorne Hornets!

Whether you’re a poker pro or don’t know a flush from a full house, no experience is needed. Pull on your boots, grab your friends, and come ready for a fun night out while helping us raise the stakes for our students.

Every ticket purchased, bid placed, and dollar donated helps the Hawthorne Elementary School Foundation invest in the programs, spaces, resources, and experiences that help our students thrive.

So saddle up, go all in, and help our Hornets soar! 🐝♥️♠️

Good times. Great cause. A little friendly bluffing.

Costumes, Music & Fun

Boots, Bling & Whatever You Bring 🤠✨

Come as you are—or have a little fun with the theme! There’s no dress code, but we’d love to see a little Texas flair if you’re feeling it. Think cowboy boots, denim, hats, fringe, turquoise, bandanas, or a little Western glam.

Whether you go casual, cowboy, casino-chic, or full-on Texas Hold ’Em, anything goes. Just come ready to deal, dance & have a good time! ♠️♥️🐝

Tickets and Extra Games

Your Ticket Is Your All-Access Pass! 🎟️🤠♠️

Your Boots & Bluffs ticket gets you a whole lot more than a seat at the table! Come hungry, come ready to play, and definitely bring your dancing boots.

Your ticket includes admission to the event, dinner & a drink catered by Southbound Restaurant, free wine and beer, a raffle ticket towards the grand prize at the end of the night, and a voucher for 2,500 starter chips to get you in the game at our casino tables.

And that’s just the beginning! Stick around for line dancing, music, photo booth, entertainment from DJ Scott Mad Flip, plenty of chances to test your poker face, and access to exclusive live-auction items available for bidding only at Boots & Bluffs!

Just remember: Get Out of Jail Free cards are advance purchase only, through October 23 at 11:45 p.m. So grab yours before the festivities begin!!

**Side Note: You do not have to purchase game bundles at the same time as your general admission tickets. Think about it, decide what you like, and come back and get it when you're ready! These ticket bundles will remain available until 1 hour before the event. We'll give you your passes for pre-purchased games upon entry at the event.

The “Buy It Now” section for additional games and casino chips will stay open on the auction tab throughout the event! Just pull out your phone, purchase what you’d like, and show your purchase confirmation to the volunteer designated on the game menu (e.g. The Sheriff, the DJ, Check In Table, etc).

Projects

What We’re Working Toward This Year 🐝

With the support of our Hawthorne families, community partners, and donors, the Hawthorne Elementary School Foundation hopes to continue investing in projects and programs that help every Hornet learn, grow, belong, and thrive.

And There’s More We’d Love to Do…

As funding allows, the Foundation can respond to new ideas and needs throughout the school year—from improving playground and outdoor spaces to providing new classroom resources, supporting innovative programs, and helping turn great ideas from our teachers and staff into reality.

That’s what Boots & Bluffs is really about. Every ticket, auction bid, sponsorship, and donation gives us a bigger hand to play as we work to create extraordinary opportunities for a very special little school.

When our community goes “All In” for Hawthorne, our Hornets can soar. 🐝♠️♥️
