On behalf of NewFlex Youth Programs, Inc., we are pleased to invite you to support and participate in our Annual “Miss NewFlex Hair Show Pageant” Fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, June 7 2026, at 5:00 PM at The Doles Center, located at 250 South 6th Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY.

NewFlex Youth Programs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development through sports, mentoring, and leadership. Our mission is to nurture character and confidence in school-age youth from elementary to high school, especially in underserved communities. The Miss NewFlex Hair Show Pageant was created to further this mission by helping girls build self-esteem and embrace self-love through a celebration of beauty, creativity, and personal expression.

According to expert pageant coach Rhonda Shappert, pageantry encourages the development of life skills such as self-confidence, public speaking, and leadership—qualities we strive to foster in every young lady who participates. Our pageant features contestants from various communities competing for the title of Miss NewFlex Princess, showcasing creative hairstyles, talent performances, and runway presentations.

The success of this event is made possible by the generous support of individuals like you. We are seeking contributions in the form of volunteer time, professional services, donated goods, or sponsorships. We welcome your involvement as a judge, stylist, makeup artist, designer, model, performer, or through any donated service or item. All contributions will be acknowledged during the event and featured in our official program journal.
