WHO The NICU Family Collective (NFC) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers while their baby is admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Betty H. Cameron Women's & Children's Hospital at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. NFC provides family-centered, trauma-informed support ranging from social services to education, advocacy, and community outreach. At the most basic level, NFC provides a very real, human connection and an emotional support to NICU families navigating uncharted territory with an uncertain future.

NFC provides timely emotional, instrumental, informational, and network support to families with babies who are currently receiving care or who have previously received care from the NICU at the Betty H. Cameron Women's & Children's Hospital at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

NFC aims to be the leading resource and community network in Southeastern North Carolina for those journeying through a NICU experience, providing families and babies with the most critical support from the moment they anticipate a NICU admission to valuable lifelong support after they return home.

WHAT In celebration of NICU Awareness Month, NFC will be hosting a NICU Reunion for NICU graduates and their families and NICU providers (doctors, neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, and more!) to reunite and celebrate how far these NICU graduates have come since their graduation day. This event is FREE to attend, but space is limited and registration is required.
