Local artists volunteered to paint 55-gallon rain barrels, with beautiful and functional results!

The funds raised will be used for the WCNRD StoryWalk® program, specifically to purchase books and preparation materials such as lamination and heavy-duty velcro. StoryWalk® encourages families to read and enjoy outdoor movement together by displaying pages of a book along a walking path or trail. WCNRD hopes to use StoryWalk® to inspire repeated visits to local parks and trails and foster an interest in nature and natural resources.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

Bid on beautiful rain barrels, painted by local artists, to help fund the StoryWalk® program
