Letters to Santa: The Holiday Gala hosted by Chop Shop will be emceed by Chicago improv legends, comedians Nnamdi Ngwe and Patrick Rowland and will feature:

A special comedy performance by SNL alum Fred Armisen
Intimate acoustic performance by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy
House band under the direction of Alexander Burke and featuring Andreas Wild (Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats)
Improvisation, Chicago style, by Shantira Jackson, Rebecca Sohn, Rich Sohn, Dana Quercioli, Edgar Blackmon and Vernon Mina
A live auction including a 1999 Rick Nielsen Signature Futura guitar signed by all members of Cheap Trick, a private concert at your home by Jeff Tweedy, meet and greet with Fred Armisen, and more
Reception with culinary and cocktail delights by Chop Shop (included with ticket) and music by Windy City Ramblers.
Post-reception DJ set by recording engineer/owner of House Of The Golden Sun recording studio Stan Wood

OUR WORK

Letters To Santa brings immeasurable joy and vital economic relief to local families. On Christmas Day, families are surprised with armloads of gifts like clothing, toys and computers. Additionally, each family receives an unconditional cash grant of $10,000 for ongoing expenses. Every penny raised goes directly towards supporting families in poverty. Letters To Santa is the primary program of Letters Charity, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
