ABOUT THE AUCTION, ARTWORK and ARTISTS

The works featured in this auction are created by local and world renowned artists at the Noisy Waters Mural Festival as well as Paper Whale activations from this summer, 2025.
Each of these works are painted on MDO plywood and are suitable for indoor and outdoor placement.
70% of the auction proceeds go directly to the artists and the remainder will be used to sponsor next year's mural festival.

This auction will be ongoing through September 4th at 10pm (PDT).

From August 15–17, 2025, artists from near and far will gather in Bellingham, WA for a free, all-ages celebration of art and community at Noisy Waters Mural Festival. The festival features live painting, spray-paint workshops, an interactive kids’ wall, music, and endless inspiration.

Watch murals come to life and bid to take home one of these original artworks during the event. Festival-goers will also cast their votes at our voting booth; the artists with the most votes will earn the opportunity to paint large-scale public murals in Bellingham, leaving a legacy for the community to enjoy for years to come.

Festival Location: The Peter Paulson Stage, adjacent to Trackside Beer Garden at 298 W Laurel Street on Bellingham's Waterfront.

Why "Noisy Waters"? The word “Whatcom” is derived from the Lhaq'temish word Xwot'qom, which translates to “noisy water.” This festival aims to make noise in Bellingham by hosting a confluence of vibrant muralists and artists.
