Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County is looking for volunteers to support local seniors and their caregivers! Give caregivers the most meaningful gift of all, a break by becoming a respite volunteer. Respite volunteer meeting with local caregiving matches, 2-4 hours weekly. Volunteers socialize with seniors while caregivers can take time to run errands, attend a doctor’s appointment or simply relax. No direct or hands-on care is required. Looking for a fun way to give back to the community while spending time enjoying the fall foliage? CSSW is looking for volunteers to complete leaf raking and other outdoor chores of our senior community members.
