Central Street Studios is a 4-floor artist workspace community in Somerville, MA. It houses affordable studio spaces for visual artists, writers & musicians, many who are small businesses. For over 40 years, Karen & Paul Morse along with Nancy Dutton & David Benson have owned & upkept the building, allowing many artists to expand their craft & hone their creative skills.

Instead of selling the property commercially, the owners have agreed to sell to the mission-driven nonprofit organization: the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston (ABC), who also owns/operates 300 artist work and live/workspaces at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell. To close the sale, many stakeholders are helping financially, including the City of Somerville, the Massachusetts Cultural Council's Cultural Facilities Fund, private donors & the artists/musicians of Central Street Studios.
