June is National Aphasia Awareness Month, a vital campaign dedicated to increasing public education about language disorders and acknowledging the many individuals living with or caring for those with aphasia. Despite over two million people in the United States having aphasia, 84.5% of Americans have never heard the term. This needs to change to improve communication experiences for people with aphasia.

Your gift will significantly support the Texans living with aphasia. The road to recovery can be daunting and heartbreaking, but HARC is a beacon of hope where dignity is regained in a life-affirming environment. Your contribution ensures that we can continue to provide essential services and support to those affected by aphasia.
