To prepare for our World Art Day Exhibition and Auction, 12 patients invested 51 total work hours over the span of 17 days to create over 40 unique pieces of artwork.

Over these 17 days, our patients put in the work and pushed themselves creatively. Working collaboratively, helping each other with ideas and techniques.

They explored working with acrylics, colored pencils, sculpture, and mosaics. They could try new mediums they had not yet explored and had some fun while doing it.

Art has a remarkable ability to soothe, inspire, and heal.

Creating art during a hospital stay has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and even physical pain. It lifts spirits, fosters a sense of control, and distracts from medical challenges.

The works featured in this exhibition are more than just creative expressions—they are stories of resilience, courage, and hope.
