Join us for a night of modern music at The Hook & Ladder on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, 6-9 pm. Students in guitar, modern music ensemble, Jazz I and II along with the South Community Band will be performing and Mike "Give Me The Mike" Marcotte has graciously volunteered to be our emcee. This will be our big fundraiser for the year to support the music program at South High. We are hosting a silent auction so please bid early and bid often! The auction will go live a week before our "Play It Forward" event and will remain open for the first hour of the evening. We will close bidding at 7pm on the evening of the performance. This year donations raised through the South High Music Boosters are being matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor up to a total of $12,000. South High lost a full-time music instructor due to school budget cuts, but due to the generosity of our donors we have been able to fund a Jazz I instructor for the year. Funds are also being used to purchase and repair instruments and provide for music tour scholarships. Please join us on the evening of January 24 to hear great music and help push us over the top of our fundraising goal for the year!
