Wow! 20 years of exciting golf outing memories. Derek Schooley, Jim Vitale, Cindy Cooney, and Welling Fruehauf started the outing in 2006, hoping this would raise awareness of RMU Hockey. This event has grown over the years from our modest beginning to a signature event of the start of the hockey season.

We are grateful to all who continue to support our hockey programs and look forward to your involvement in the golf outing. We would also like to acknowledge our long-time sponsor, Welling Fruehauf and Fruehauf Manufacturing, for the ongoing support of Colonial Hockey, as well as our thoughts and prayers for Jim Vitale, who was a friend to all who golfed in this event.

We are excited that RMU Athletics & the Colonial Hockey Foundation are continuing this top fundraising event, which has raised over $400,000 for RMU Hockey. The overall goal of the outing is to celebrate RMU Hockey and raise funds to help our teams get back to the national prominence that is expected from both programs, which we are well on our way to doing.
