Warrensburg Christian School is a birth through 8th grade program that services Warrensburg, MO and its surrounding communities. We were established in 2008 as The Early Childhood Opportunity Center, with only 13 children (birth through Pre-K). In 2012 we began our private school, Christ Church Christian School, with only Kindergarten and 1st grade.

Through God's guidance, we have continued to grow and can now educate students from birth up to the 8th grade. With our latest expansion in January of 2019, we adopted a new name to better serve our entire school and community. The ECOC & CCCS merged, becoming Warrensburg Christian School.

With the growth of our private school program we also saw the need to develop a mascot. So approaching the 2021 academic year, we announced the newest addition to the WCS Family: Lazarus the Lion!

We are immensely grateful for God’s guidance and the incredible community support we have received, and we are excited to announce that we officially broke ground on May 9, 2024, for the first phase of our private school's expansion. This initial phase will focus on constructing four new classrooms to accommodate our growing student population. In addition, we are actively engaged in fundraising efforts to prepare for the second phase of expansion, which will involve the construction of more classrooms, a copy room, an administrative office, a fabulous courtyard for our students to enjoy, and a new entrance for our private school.
