As a Children's Mental Health worker with BHcare at the Parent Child Resource Center, this cause is near and dear to my heart. I specialize in working with very young children, from little ones who have endured more than imaginable to youngster who need a little extra support. In my role I often have the privilege of working with the child's family as well; it's a wonderful way to gain insight into how to best help the children and provide support to the family at the same time. Mental health struggles are real and we are seeing the impact on young children more and more. The services offered at BHcare through the Parent Child Resource Center are so valuable to our community, we are fortunate to have this local resource.
