AVB was initially created to provide “ALL” veterans of the “Armed Forces” with the opportunity to participate in an annual service ball similar to our active service components. The most common denominator we discovered was that once we’d transitioned out of our respective branches of service, there was an immediate disconnection with these traditional and customary events of shared comradeship, which we’ve always treasured. Yet, despite this disconnection, whether in or out of the uniform, we still live out our instilled values and way of life as active leaders in our communities, workplaces, and every good endeavor. Since then, our mission, goal, vision, approach, and platform have evolved as outlined below.

Our MISSION is to honor veterans, preserve legacies, and empower them to overcome multifaceted challenges and transform them into meaningful lives through our holistic PASSION and PURPOSE initiative. This initiative fosters interconnected support systems, providing stability and creating a future where veterans, military spouses, and dependents thrive beyond their service. Additionally, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of youth leaders to invest in tomorrow’s leaders to ensure a brighter future for all.

Our GOAL is to create a resilient community where veterans, military spouses, and their dependents thrive while providing vital assistance to meaningful employment, education, case management, crisis intervention, stable housing, homelessness avoidance, recreational sports activities, access to immediate care, available benefits, and mental well-being support. We’ll achieve this through comprehensive support systems focusing on suicide prevention efforts, family and youth engagement programs, legacy preservation, policy advocacy, collaboration, and continuous evaluation, ensuring a lasting positive impact for all.

Our VISION is realized by empowering veterans, enriching their lives, and inspiring hope for a future where every veteran, military spouse, dependents, and community youth thrives. In this future, veterans’ legacies are preserved and celebrated, serving as a source of inspiration for future generations. Through comprehensive support systems, suicide prevention initiatives, and advocacy for policy changes, we strive to create a resilient and lasting impact on the well-being of veterans, their families, and their surrounding communities as a whole.

Our APPROACH is multifaceted and a holistic strategy guided by our mission, goal, and vision. It encompasses the development of an all-inclusive sustainable framework and strategic approach that ensures a lasting positive impact, creating a resilient community where all thrive beyond service, legacies are celebrated, and well-being is safeguarded.

Our AVB EVENT PLATFORM embodies our mission, goals, vision, and approach to CONNECTING our PAST and PRESENT military professionals to the FUTURE LEADERS of America. Our event provides a pathway for all to invest in tomorrow’s future, resulting in a full-circle generational torch-passing ceremony. AVB is also designed to reignite, reconnect with, and maintain our patriotism with our fellow veterans through this unique event for years to come.

Similarly, our event is an inspirational LIGHTHOUSE and SUPPORTIVE hub for our unwavering commitment to honor veterans, preserve their legacies, promote veteran suicide awareness, and empower them to prevail in life challenges while living purposeful-driven lives post-active service. We warmly invite veterans, military spouses, dependents, extended families, and friends of all backgrounds, including active, reserves, separated, or retired personnel, esteemed guests, dedicated civilian supporters, and the wider public, to commemorate and celebrate our enduring legacies.

The proceeds from this event will be dedicated to funding vital veteran initiatives, youth leadership camps, JROTC programs, inspiring educational scholarships, and future AVB endeavors. Your support is instrumental as we unite to nurture fellowship, extend honor, and pay tribute to our valued heroes and heroines as a SHARED PATRIOTIC COMMUNITY INVESTMENT that encapsulates the full circle of our commitment.
