ARTISTS for MIKEL MWALIMU-BANKS: The Fight Against FSHD is a fundraising initiative that allows Mikel Mwalimu-Banks and his family to afford the costly expenses associated with maintaining his care through Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD)’s progression.

These expenses include but are not limited to appropriate medical care, specialized equipment, additional living expenses and associated legal fees.

Your donations go towards experiences that nourish Mikel’s soul as an artist, and help give him both strength and stamina to move forward through creative inspiration.

Lastly, your contribution makes possible the creation of the Mwalimu-Banks FSHD Foundation, which aims to provide direct support to individuals and their families struggling through the financial challenges of living with FSHD.
