There's a reason we spend a day on the green every summer. Recovery, like a good round of golf, is better with people who've got your back.

Bridges is a safe and sober space where teens recover and families rebuild, together. We're Seattle's only Alternative Peer Group: a peer-led, year-round community where teens find sober friends, outdoor adventures, and proof that another way of living is possible. Because the opposite of addiction is connection, and recovery is contagious.

The stakes are real. More than 90% of adults with a substance use disorder started as teenagers, and most programs see relapse rates of 50–90% once a teen walks out the door. Bridges is what comes next — not a program with a waiting list and a discharge date, but a community that stays. It's working: our teens sustain recovery at a rate above 85%, more than double the national average. Since 2020, we've walked alongside 200+ youth and families.

Birdies for Bridges is our favorite day to celebrate that work — and to fund it. Every foursome, sponsorship, and donation keeps our van running, our peer counselors mentoring, and our doors open to any family, regardless of what they can pay.

Can't Golf? Give a Gift

You don't need a set of clubs to change a teen's life. Every gift goes straight to keeping our doors open to any family, regardless of what they can pay.

$50 — Break bread. Share a meal at a group night, where the sober community starts with a full table.
$100 — Ride along. Help keep our van on the road, picking teens up from school and bringing them into the community four days a week.
$250 — Pack a backpack. Fuel the pro-social projects - like the 55 backpacks our teens packed for young people experiencing homelessness - that build a life worth staying sober for.
$500 — Send a teen outdoors. Cover a spot on a camping or arts adventure, where a teenager sees a life in recovery is possible.
$1,000 — Fund a scholarship. Help ensure cost never keeps a family out — in 2025, 31 of 36 families received scholarship support.
$2,500 — Build the bridge. Sustain a full season of peer counseling, family support, and community for a teen and their family.
