Bringing Water, Bringing Hope: The 2025 My Motherland Trip with Purpose

In many parts of rural Zimbabwe, water is not a given—it’s a daily challenge. Families often walk miles to collect water from rivers or shallow wells, putting their health at risk and pulling children, especially girls, out of classrooms to help with the task.

This year, during our 2025 Trip with Purpose, we’re stepping up to make a lasting change.

Together with students traveling from the U.S. to Zimbabwe, we’re launching a project to drill a solar-powered borehole in a rural community that desperately needs access to clean, safe water. This isn’t just about installing infrastructure—it’s about empowering the next generation with the opportunity to lead, serve, and make an impact alongside local families.

We’re on a mission to raise $6,500 to make this vision a reality.
