Briarcliff Nursery School is a vibrant and nurturing place where young children take their first steps into the world of learning. Each year, nearly 40 children, from toddlers to pre-kindergarteners, fill our classrooms and outdoor spaces with curiosity and laughter. Our devoted teachers create engaging experiences designed to spark imagination, build independence, and foster lasting friendships.

As a parent cooperative, BNS flourishes because of the dedication of its families. From enhancing our learning spaces to supporting enrichment programs, parents play a vital role in shaping our school. Their contributions leave a lasting mark—from building new outdoor play structures that encourage active exploration, to funding classroom materials that inspire creativity, to organizing special events that bring joy and excitement to the children. These efforts not only improve the school physically but also enrich the educational experience for every child who walks through our doors.

This year, we are especially focused on expanding our scholarship program to help more families access the magic of BNS, ensuring that financial concerns never stand in the way of a child’s opportunity to learn and grow. In addition, we are excited to be making improvements to our playground and outdoor space, creating an even more engaging and dynamic environment for children to explore, play, and connect with nature.

Our annual community event is a celebration of this shared commitment. It’s a chance to gather, connect, and reflect on the meaningful relationships built within our school community.
