The Back-to-School Fair serves over 600 low-income children from all over Jefferson County.

Our Back-to-School Trivia Night is the main fundraiser for the Fair.

The Fair provides free school supplies to pre-registered low-income children in Jefferson County School Districts. Each registered child receives a backpack, school supplies, a free pair of name-brand shoes, and many additional resources. Partner vendors also provide hearing and vision screenings, dental screenings, haircuts, healthy snacks, books, and valuable information and resources for low-income families. All services are provided at no cost to the children and families who attend.

Here are the ways to support Trivia Night:

Sponsor a Student - Provide a Backpack and Shoes for a Student - $25

Elementary Level Round Sponsor - $100 (Only 10 available)

Name and Logo placement at registration table and in program
Formal name recognition on round PowerPoint slides

General Admission Table for 8 - $140 (Single Tickets for $20 each)

Middle School Level VIP Table - $400 (Only 4 available)

VIP Table for 8 people with preferential seating
Mulligans for the table
Raffle ticket for each person at the table
Unlimited drinks per person
Recognition on website & event program

High School Level Event Sponsor - $1,000 (Limited # Available)

Name and Logo placement at registration
Formal name recognition at microphone from emcee

Totals and Stats from the 2023 Back to School Fair:

Backpacks filled with school supplies were given to 665 children. (including families unable to attend the fair)
513 children received a free pair of Shoes thanks to our partnership with Sneakers with Soul and Festus Walmart
300+ Meals were distributed by Operation Food Search
134 Children received a Free Haircut thanks to volunteer stylists
125 Child ID Kits were completed by MO Family Support Division
25 Children received Dental services thanks to Upward Smiles (20 cleanings + 5 emergency services)
123 Children were Screened for hearing and vision, with 37 referrals made for follow-up services
Over 65 volunteers helped to set up and run the event, including groups from Unigroup, Gracelife Chapel, and American Heritage Girls
25 Vendors Including gave valuable information and fun products to everyone who attended
