The Baltimore Area Sports Health Initiative was founded in 2020 to advance the healthcare provided for athletes in the Baltimore area. The first organization of its kind, BASH is leading the way in growing the efficacy and accessibility of sports health through education, advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Athletic trainers are the first line of defense when it comes to protecting athletes. They are integral in the prevention and care of athletic injuries. One third of high schools in America do not have an athletic trainer.

The Bash Ball supports the Baltimore Area Sports Health Initiative’s efforts in securing athletic trainers to protect our youth athletes.
