It’s been a busy summer.

We weeded, planted and picked up trash. We certified more than 150 new habitats and counted more than 2 acres of pollinator lands. All of this together.

And while it’s not time to sit back and admire what we've accomplished this year, it is most definitely time to celebrate.

Pack a picnic blanket and come out to Parsons Farm in Lafayette for a family-friendly afternoon and evening with food, live music, games, cash bar, silent auction and fun to benefit Friends of Coal Creek.

Our silent auction features a variety of fantastic local goods and experiences to deepen your experience of the area. We’ll do a duck race, make seed bombs and paint faces. We’ll eat together, listen to music together and celebrate as a community while we raise some funds to keep Friends of Coal Creeks' habitat-enhancing, nature-restoring, resilience-boosting work going.

So bring your family (no pets, please, there are farm animals) and join up with old friends and new ones for a day of fun at Parsons Farm, on the banks of Coal Creek.
